Edmond Chiropractor, Jeff Hijazi

Healing Hands

Dr. Hijazi was born legally blind and knew he would enter a field that involved using his increased senses of touch and listening. In the ninth grade, he wrote a paper about wanting to become a chiropractor. He didn’t know much about it at the time but knew it would allow him to use his talents to help people. Dr. Hijazi was in two car accidents in high school and sought chiropractic care. He found relief but wasn’t taught about the many benefits chiropractic can bring to each individual’s life.

A Chiropractic Education

During Dr. Hijazi’s undergraduate education, he gravitated to the math and science subjects that were his natural inclinations. “Chiropractic came up again and I realized it made perfect sense.” Dr. Hijazi then attended Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri. He graduated in 2009 and has been helping patients in Edmond since. He grew up in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and now lives and works in the Edmond community.

Helping Headaches, Naturally

When Dr. Hijazi began chiropractic school, his wife Cassie started suffering from debilitating migraine headaches. She’d been dealing with the pain on and off for most of her life, but the severity of her pain became frightening. Dr. Hijazi took Cassie to see one of his instructors who was a practicing chiropractor and started treatment. “It was amazing seeing the relief on her face after just a couple of adjustments.” Dr. Hijazi knew then that he’d chosen the right profession. Cassie now lives a life free of headaches thanks to regular chiropractic care.
