Your First Day
The necessary paperwork is available on our website to complete before you arrive for your first visit. Once you’ve completed the paperwork, you’ll be brought to a private examination room and meet Dr. Hijazi.
During this complimentary consultation, you’ll discuss what’s brought you in and review your health history in detail. The health history will help Dr. Hijazi know where we need to start to get you back to optimal health.
At this point, a staff member will come in to discuss your fees or insurance coverage, so there’s no surprises. If you choose, we’ll move forward with the X-rays and a thorough examination to identify the problem. If indicated, further testing will be prescribed. We’ll do our best to start relieving your pain right away. This visit will take about one hour. You’ll then be scheduled back for a return visit as soon as possible.
Your Second Day
On this visit, Dr. Hijazi will give you a report of his findings. If it is determined that chiropractic can help, he’ll go over your X-rays with you to show you what’s going on in your body. He’ll explain exactly what’s wrong and how long it will take to get your health back on track. A treatment plan tailored to your needs will be recommended and start on this day, if you are in agreement. Your treatment plan may involve a home exercise program or nutritional advice, based on your needs. In addition, Dr. Hijazi also addresses ergonomics for home and the workplace, prescription of at home devices to help assist certain conditions such as decompression/ inversion, posture pumps, Estem etc. We educate patients to get involved in their care and be an active part of the process.
The length of this visit will depend on your questions, but each visit following this one will take just 15-20 minutes.
